Dell's new range of computing solutions

Dell has announced the availability of some new products, which may be perfect for the computer enthusiast in your life in the run-up to Christmas. Dell is attempting to strike a balance between powerful computing and premium design, which is where it sees the the XPS 11 2-in-1, the updated XPS 13 Ultrabooks, the Dell Precision M3800 mobile workstation and the new OptiPlex 3020 desktop.

Dell XPS 11 2-in-1

The XPS 11 2-in-1 comes with touchscreen functionality and features Corning Gorilla Glass NBT to help minimize scratches and streaks on your touch computing machine. This glass protects an 11.6-inch Quad HD 2560 x 1440 display with a 360-degree rotating hinge design. The XPS 11 starts at €1,149.

XPS 13 Ultrabook

The XPS 13 features a 13.3-inch display, protected by Corning Gorilla Glass NBT; it's light, thin and weighs less than three pounds. It also features a longer battery life than the previous generation, comes with a touch screen option, and uses 4th generation (Haswell) Intel Core processors and Intel HD 4400 graphics.

Dell Precision M3800 Workstation

If you need to edit content or collaborate with clients and vendors while on the go, the M3800 Workstation is aimed at you. It's described as the world's thinnest and lightest 15-inch mobile workstation, and comes with a 4th-generation Intel Core i7-4702HQ processor, NVIDIA Quadro K1100M graphics with 2 GB of dedicated memory, and a Quad HD+ display with 3200 x 1800 resolution.

Dell OptiPlex 3020 Desktop

If mobility isn't a concern, but you are looking for a powerful system with built-in security features, the OptiPlex 3020 may be for you. It is available with Dell Data Protection, Encryption for advanced authentication and leading edge malware prevention. It features up to Intel i5 Core Processors, Intel HD Graphics 4600 and dual monitor capabilities.
