In collaboration with streaming device specialist Roku, the Chinese electronics manufacturer TCL has announced the upcoming launch of a new range of TVs. Ranging in size from 32 to 55 inches, the new models facilitate access to services such as Netflix and Amazon Instant Video.

The idea is to build the technology of Roku's streaming players directly into TCL's TVs, allowing users to easily and intuitively access their favorite content streaming sources through the remote.

In fact, the remote even has specific buttons that take the user directly to Netflix, Amazon Instant Video, Rdio and Vudu. An app for Windows, Android and iOS also allows users to transform any mobile device into an extra remote for the TV.

In total, over 1,500 networks are available through streaming from the TV's home screen, or over 200,000 films and episodes of series. Users can quickly access YouTube, Vevo, Hulu Plus or HBO Go.

The new TVs, which are expected to begin shipping in September or October, have three HDMI inputs. With the exception of the 32-inch model at 720p, all of the new models are Full HD (1080p).
