The Faces of Facebook, an app created by self-described "creative technologist" Natalia Rojas, has brought the profile photos of the social network's 1.27 billion subscribers to one web page.
When site visitors click on a pixel in the huge mosaic, they are taken to the public version of a Facebook user's profile, where they can then click through any photos or information the user has shared with the rest of the Internet.
By adding the app to their Facebook account, users can even find their location in the enormous graphic, which lists Facebook users chronologically according to the date their account was created.
Already huge (nearly one in six people on the planet is on Facebook), the mosaic of faces is updated in real time, with dozens of new individuals added each second.
