Photos leaked on Twitter last night, allegedly showing the iPhone 6 in all its glory, but it turns out that they are nothing more than renders.
Frequent Apple leaker Sonny Dickson drew attention to the photos that popped up online, but they originated from an anonymous Twitter user who has no other tweets besides these photos.
However, many were skeptical that these photos were real, and they were later proven fake by Reddit user colinstalter who pointed out that Hajek uses the same smudge texture in his renderings.
So, we'll be kept waiting for another while at least before we get a first glimpse at the iPhone 6 and what Apple has planned. Previous reports have suggested that Apple is planning to release two iPhone models this year, one with a 4.7-inch display and the other with a 5.7-inch display. Naturally, Apple has not commented on these reports.
