Have you ever wondered why your smartphone can provide you with audio, visual and social entertainment but not olfactory? I mean, who wouldn't want access to their favourite smells all the time?
This heaven-scent (HA!) Japanese gadget bring us one step closer to realizing our wildest-smelling dreams. It's called the Hana Yakiniku, which translates literally to "Nose Grilled Meat" and it currently comes equipped with three scents: Short Ribs, Beef Tongue and Buttered Potato. According to its creators, the Hana Yakiniku is perfect for those short on cash who want a way to spice up their meals. Kind of.
The Hana Yakiniku works by plugging into your iPhone's headphone jack, where it communicates with the free Hana Yakiniku app, spraying puffs of scent on the user's command. As confused and curious as I am? Check out this video, even though it probably won't help.
