If you're eagerly anticipating the arrival of the HTC One Max, you'll be pleased to hear that you may not have long to wait. The phablet will launch on Oct. 17, if the report from Chinese site ePrice is to be believed. Previous rumours suggested an October 15th launch date, so it's not a huge surprise that the latest rumour would put the launch in or around that time.
The upcoming device from HTC has been the subject of plenty of leaks recently. It was suggested that the HTC One Max would feature a fingerprint scanner, though this was before Apple announced one for the iPhone 5S. Meanwhile, the One Max could feature a 2.3 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 800 processor and 2 GB RAM behind its 5.9-inch 1080p display.
According to PocketNow, the HTC One Max went through the Chinese equivalent of the U.S.'s FCC, TENAA. This in itself indicates that the device will be arriving soon. Currently, we do not know what regions the device will initially launch in or how much it will cost, but stay tuned for more information.
