A Quebec-based fast food restaurant chain is claiming a first.
Les Rotisseries St-Hubert says its the first chain in the province to launch its very own mobile game.
Available for free as of today on iPhones, iPads and Android devices, "the Chicken Run game (or Poule Position in French) will allow players to drive a St-Hubert delivery car and go through five cities in Quebec and Ontario on a road filled with obstacles. Races will provide action and fun for both children and adults."
The chain is quick to add that a version of the game without a link to St-Hubert has been developed for those 14 and under.
"We wanted to rethink our customers' experience with the St-Hubert brand by providing a game they can take anywhere, whether it's for some entertainment at the restaurant or while they're waiting for their delivery order," says Jonathan Gendreau, a spokesman with Les Rotisseries St-Hubert.
The company says payers can collect playing cards in restaurants that will allow them to add bonuses to their car during the race. Reaching different cities in the game will also give them a chance to instantly win discounts on St-Hubert products.
