A 19-year-old man in the U.K. received a free Xbox One console from retailer CeX, after paying £450 for a picture of the console. Staff at the Nottingham branch presented him with the console over the weekend, according to the Nottingham Post.

U.K. student Peter Clatworthy was caught out by an eBay listing last week and ended up paying over the odds for a photo of the console and FIFA 14. He had saved up to buy an Xbox Oneas a Christmas present for his four-year-old son. He said that he noted the listing mentioned it was a "photo," but he assumed that it couldn't be the case because it was listed in eBay's video game and consoles category. Instead, he received the photo with the message, "Thank you for your purchase' written on the back."

Clatworthy said, "I'm just overwhelmed by the reaction to the story. All I wanted was a refund. I cannot believe this." eBay refunded him the money that he paid for the photo, and the seller has since been banned from the website.
