The new Kinect for the Xbox One will supposedly have the ability to pick up two simultaneous voices and discern what each is saying. Phil Harrison, Microsoft's Corporate VP, displayed the Kinect's new features in a video at the Eurogamer Expo today in London, England.
"It can not only hear two people speaking at once and understand two people speaking at once," said Nick Burton, New Technology's Lead Developer, "It can also see if their mouths are moving in a completely dark room. And that allows us to do crazy levels of detail."
This voice distinguishing feature is just one among the many boasted by the Kinect, which will be able to detect player's facial expressions, map the movement of up to 25 joints in your body and even detect your heart rate. Kinda really creepy actually.
