The trailer for "Assassin's Creed III: The Tyranny of King Washington" imagines that George Washington becomes corrupted by power and sets up his own monarchy.
In it, main character Connor goes back to his Native American roots, calling upon a selection of new powers -- such as invisibility and mastery of a wolverine pack -- in a bit to prevent George Washington from ruling as a bitter monarch.
The three-part "Assassin's Creed III" side-story "The Tyranny of King Washington" has its first episode, "Infamy," ready for download and a Wolf Power trailer to accompany it.
Second episode, "The Betrayal," is set to arrive on Xbox 360, PC and PlayStation 3 the week of March 19, with "Redemption" concluding the arc after that.
The piratical "Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag" then expands on the nautical themes introduced by its predecessor and is expected from October 29, by which time the PlayStation 4 and Xbox 720 may well be available at retail.
