'Grand Theft Auto: Vice City' going mobile

Take back Vice City from December 6 (All rights reserved - Rockstar Games)

Can't get enough Grand Theft Auto hype? Chomping at the bit for '80s gangsterism on the move? Then consider Grand Theft Auto: Vice City 10th Anniversary Edition come Dec. 6, when it will launch on iOS and Android devices.

It wasn't all that long ago -- December last year, in fact -- that Grand Theft Auto III received the mobile treatment, but perhaps it's time to take a trip down memory lane courtesy of upwardly mobile mafioso Tommy Vercetti and his Vice City adventures.

At $4.99, Vice City will undercut Gameloft's iOS homage, Gangstar: Miami Vindication, by a couple of dollars, and arrives at a time when many GTA fans are already looking forward to a new batch of anti-hero shenanigans when GTA V arrives in Spring 2013.

It's to run on iPad and iPhone / iPod Touch 4 and upward, as well as Android mobiles and tablets such as the Samsung Galaxy SII, Motorola Razr, HTC Sensation, Sony Xperia Play as well as the Samsung Tab 8.9, Asus Eee Pad Transformer, Motorola Xoom, and the Google Nexus 4, 7 and 10.
