First to buy the Wii U: Isaiah Triforce Johnson
By Relaxnews

He was first in line to buy the Nintendo Wii and first for the Nintendo 3DS; on Sunday, November 18, Isaiah Triforce Johnson became the first to buy the Nintendo Wii U upon its worldwide retail debut.

Save for an evacuation-enforced break as Hurricane Sandy hit New York, Isaiah's daily vigil started on October 23, and it was Nintendo of America president Reggie Fils-Aime who was on hand to sell him that first Wii U.

The Wii U is due to release in European and Australian regions on November 30, and in Japan on December 8.

Fellow console manufacturers Microsoft and Sony are expected to announce a new Xbox and PlayStation in 2013; the tiny Android-powered Ouya is currently scheduled for March 2013.
