75 Influential Canadians on Twitter
People you should follow

Canadians, like the rest of the world, flocked to Twitter like never before in 2012. Whether it was a monkey spotted in an IKEA parking lot in Toronto or Canadians looking to voice their support for our athletes at the Summer Olympics in London several of us chose to voice our views in 140 character updates.

But who had the most influence in the Great White North? Sun Media social media manager Monique Beech has come up with a list of 75 Canadians who led the conversation this year on Twitter. She consulted with the national online team and the Twitterverse to come up with her list, broken down into seven categories: food/wine, music, sports, fashion/beauty/lifestyle, actors/comedians/TV personalities, politics and tech/business.

Like any list, it's up for debate. Please tell us who you follow on Twitter and why by commenting below.
