The irascible eight are ready to duke it out in Round 3 of QMI's Ultimate fighting game battle royale: Round 3.


The gaming world's greatest fighters are testing their might as they enter Round 3.

We're down to an irascible eight after Round 2, so feel free to scan over the results and vote for your next round favourites below.

In the bracket, Ryu dragon punched Mortal Kombat's soul stealer, Shang Tsung, back into the Outworld 568-226. Tsung's villainous colleague Sub Zero had no problems ousting Fatal Fury's Terry Bogard, winning 710-81.

Tekken's golden boy, Jin Kazama, knocked out Soul Calibur's demonic knight, Nightmare, 484-307, and Capcom heroine Chun Li won her match against Siegfried Schtauffen 571-223.

Assassin Nina Williams ousted Sega's good girl Pai Chan by a score of 573 to 219. MK's protagonist Liu Kang downed Soul Calibur's Mitsurugi 584-214 to also make the quarter-finals.

The final two matches had Midway villain Scorpion chaining up Dead Or Alive's Ayane, 708-90, while Street Fighter villain M. Bison doused Ivy Valentine's fire, 508-284.
